Retail design — POS displays, window dressing and point-of-sale materials
What you get
-
POS displays and shelf-talkers
Free-standing displays, counter units, shelf-edge wobblers, danglers — designed for the actual store category and the actual retailers' rules. Bravo and Bazarstore each have their own placement guidelines; we design to them, not against them.
-
Window dressing and storefront design
Vinyl, lightboxes, in-window installations. Specified for the physical glass (thermal expansion, sunlight fade), with files ready for the local installer. Designed to read from the pavement, not from inside the shop.
-
Wayfinding and in-store signage
Category signs, promo signs, queue signs, safety signs. Consistent in typography and material — the most common retail design failure is six different sign systems in one store.
-
Production specifications and installer brief
Materials (acrylic thickness, foam grade, vinyl finish), mounting, hardware. A document the installer can quote and execute from, with no clarification calls.
How we approach it
1. Store walk and category audit
We walk the store — and the competing stores in the same mall or street — to see what every other brand is doing on shelf. Retail design is a contrast game; we design against the actual noise, not against an idea of it.
2. Concept and material direction
Concept board with material samples — substrate, finish, lighting. Approved together with you and the store team before any artwork.
3. Production artwork and prototype
Production files for each piece. Where the unit is complex (free-standing displays, lightboxes) we prototype one before producing the full run.
4. Install and review
We attend or remotely supervise the install in the first store. Adjustments are documented and rolled into the run for the remaining stores.
When not to hire us for this
- You only need one promo sign for one weekend — a local print shop will be faster and cheaper.
- Your retail footprint is one shop and one product — at that scale, ad-hoc design beats a system.
- You have not agreed placement and material budget with the retailer — Bravo, Bazarstore and the malls each have rules we cannot work around.
- Your goal is purely decorative — retail design without commercial purpose is interior decoration, which we do not do.

Frequently asked questions
How much does retail design cost in Baku?
Design fees for a single store with POS, window and signage typically start around 2,500 AZN and scale with scope. Production and installation are separate, quoted by the producers and installers we brief — we do not mark up their invoices.
Do you handle production of POS displays?
We design and specify. Production is done by acrylic, metal and print partners in Baku we have shipped with. We brief them, approve the prototype, and stay on the project until install — but the production invoice goes directly to you.
Can you design for chain rollout across multiple stores?
Yes. We build a master kit — variants per store size, per region, per language — so a 12-store rollout uses one system, not 12 ad-hoc designs. The economics of retail design only work when the system scales.
Do you do window displays?
Yes — vinyl, lightbox, in-window installation. We specify for the actual glass and the actual sun exposure (south-facing windows in Baku summer kill cheap vinyl in months).
How long does retail design take?
Two to six weeks depending on scope. A single store POS package is two weeks. A multi-store rollout with window, wayfinding and POS is four to six weeks before production begins.
