Brand and product design at the intersection of health and education
Caredu works where healthcare and education meet — medical consultation, healthy-lifestyle teaching. We delivered the brand identity and product UI that hold across the two domains.

Starting point
Caredu sits between two domains that each have their own visual conventions — healthcare reads as clinical, education reads as warm. The identity had to find a register that holds both without choosing one.
The hardest brief in this category is calibration. Lean too clinical and you scare the education audience away; lean too warm and you lose trust on the healthcare side. The system had to refuse both extremes.
Decisions
- Identity calibrated between clinical and warm — neither hospital-cold nor school-cheerful.
- Product UI prioritising readability, because the content is the point.
- Design system that holds across both domains.
- Accessibility prioritised from the start — both domains have audiences who depend on it.
Execution
Delivered as a working brand library with documented principles, plus product UI for the core flows.
Component library structured around the actual content shapes: lessons, consultations, plans, progress. The system reads as the product, not as decoration around it.
“Calibration is the whole job here. Too clinical and education runs away; too warm and healthcare doesn't trust you.”

Result
- An identity that reads as itself, not as a copy of either parent category.
- Product UI tuned for the content, not for decoration.
- A design system the team uses to extend the product.
- Product reads as itself — not as a healthcare site with education bolted on, or vice versa.
