Catalogue and project gallery for a natural-stone supplier
Taş Dünyası sells natural stone — marble, granite — with installation. The category lives or dies on photography. We built a catalogue and project gallery that lets the material do the work.

Starting point
In a category this visual, a site full of generic product cards is a missed opportunity. People buying natural stone want to see how it behaves at scale — in a floor, on a wall, in real light.
In stone retail the photograph isn't a marketing asset, it's the product. A bad photo of a beautiful slab is worth less than a good photo of a mediocre one. We built the site around that fact.
Decisions
- Catalogue organised by material first, then by colour and finish.
- Project gallery showing the stone in situ, not on a white background.
- Quote form that asks for the right inputs — surface area, type of cut, location.
- Detail views with multiple lighting angles — colour shifts across daylight; the catalogue has to show it.
Execution
Image pipeline tuned for large photographs. The site loads progressively so that even slow connections see a usable page within a second.
The gallery system was tuned for browsing speed even on slow connections. We didn't ship lazy loading as an afterthought — it's part of the layout's structural assumption.
“In a category this material, the photography isn't decoration — it's the product.”

Result
- Catalogue and gallery that read as a working showroom.
- Quote requests that arrive with the right context.
- A site the team can update as new projects finish.
- Quote requests arrive better qualified — the customer has already filtered themselves through the catalogue.
